The Tonga Twins, Taahine and TalaVou, recently gained attention with their announcement of leaving Women of Wrestling on social media. Their departure follows serious allegations of bullying and misconduct involving other wrestlers in the promotion. Several months after their exit from WOW, the twins have now connected with Mercedes Mone, amid ongoing rumors about their potential move to AEW.

In their critique of WOW, the Tonga Twins didn’t hold back. They described the promotion as “malevolent” and accused it of interfering with their family life. While they didn’t provide specific details, their message was unmistakable.

“We will be speaking out soon. But for now, we will leave it here. To all the women who are scared to speak up, we stand for you! You will no longer see us on WOW because we spoke up! You can’t do this to GOOD PEOPLE WHO SACRIFICE THEIR FAMILY!!! So Evil. Mess with us, you mess with our KIDS and family and that’s PERSONAL. Wait on it …”

The drama surrounding their exit reached a whole new level when current WOW talent Simone Williams accused the Tonga Twins of bullying and causing harm to other wrestlers within the organization. In response, the twins defended themselves by releasing video evidence to counter these allegations.

Earlier this month, The Tonga Twins addressed making their way to AEW and stated that it would only happen if Mercedes Mone gave them a call. It so happens that Taahine Tonga took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of herself and TalaVou Tonga, as they met up with Mercedes Mone.

”Mone moves 💵 #gotwin #mercedesmone #tongatwins”

With The Tonga Twins finally meeting Mercedes Mone, we will have to wait and see whether they will end up signing with AEW and work as part of Mercedes Mone’s faction, as fans would love to see the Tonga Twins in AEW.
