Rey Mysterio is truly living legend in professional wrestling with countless accomplishments and he never forgot his roots, being such a big name in the lucha libre scene. In fact, that’s why it’s no surprise he made an appearance at AAA TripleMania 32 CDMX.
On August 17, 2024, AAA held the third night of their 32nd annual “TripleMania” event, celebrating a major milestone by inducting a Mexican wrestling legend into the AAA Hall of Fame.
Dionisio Castellanos, renowned as Nicho el Millonario and Psicosis I, was honored as the 2024 Hall of Fame inductee. Castellanos, whose illustrious 34-year career spanned WWE, WCW, ECW, NJPW, CMLL, and GCW, has earned over 18 titles, including the WCW World Cruiserweight Championship and the AAA World Tag Team Championship with Joe Lider.
In a special tribute, Rey Mysterio, Castellanos’s iconic rival with whom he had over 150 matches across various promotions, sent a congratulatory message as he celebrated Castellanos’s significant achievement and impact on wrestling.
Rey Mysterio is a WWE Hall of Famer already as he was inducted into the Hall of Fame last year. Nevertheless, Mysterio will always have massive respect for Psicosis and that’s all that matters in the end.
