Damian Priest had been dominating Monday Night RAW when he was the WWE World Heavyweight Champion but that’s in the past now. Even then, he will never forget those who influenced his career and that includes The Undertaker. In fact, Priest paid tribute to The Deadman during a recent WWE live event.

The Undertaker put his body on the line for the enjoyment of fans and most of them always appreciated that. This commitment has earned him legendary status and he has influenced many WWE Superstars and that includes Damian Priest.

During WWE’s latest live event in Lakeland, Florida, Damian Priest squared off against GUNTHER for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. It was an expectedly good match but Priest decided to make things interesting as well.

During the bout, Damian Priest paid homage to The Undertaker as he performed Old School on The Ring General and even did The Deadman’s signature taunt. Afterwards, he picked GUNTHER up for the Tombstone Piledriver before transitioning into a slam, making it clear The Deadman’s influence runs deep in him.

At the moment, Damian Priest is teaming up with Rhea Ripley and is determined to destroy the New Judgment Day following what transpired at SummerSlam. Regardless, Priest will always have a ton of respect for The Deadman and that’s unlikely to ever change.
