Roman Reigns made an unexpected comeback at SummerSlam, going after Solo Sikoa instead of Cody Rhodes but it was made clear Rhodes and Reigns would clash again in the future. In light of Reigns’ return, Cody Rhodes has finally addressed the same.
On the August 9, 2024, episode of WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns made his presence felt at the end of the show to triumph over The Bloodline. However, the opposite happened on August 16th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, as Jacob Fatu returned and destroyed The Tribal Chief.
Cody Rhodes has not had any interactions with Roman Reigns apart from SummerSlam and fans wondered what he genuinely thinks about The Head of the Table returning to WWE television.
While speaking during the Fanatics Fest, Cody Rhodes was asked about Roman Reigns’ return and what he truly felt about it. The American Nightmare made it clear that he is more than happy to share the spotlight with Reigns but reminded fans that he is the Undisputed WWE Champion.
“I’m happy to share every RAW, every SmackDown, every PLE with Roman Reigns but this right here belongs to me.”
Cody Rhodes is currently scheduled to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship but Roman Reigns made it clear he will go after Rhodes for the title gain, so we’ll have to see when they will reignite their rivalry again.
