WWE is currently dealing with several notable contract situations. Bobby Lashley’s contract was nearing its end, leading to his removal from the company’s superstar page and placement in the alumni section. It is now official that the All Mighty is no longer with WWE.
Bobby Lashley’s latest run with WWE has come to an end, which comes as a surprise, especially given his involvement with The Street Profits and B-Fab in The Pride faction. Now, The Profits will continue without him.
Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that Bobby Lashley’s WWE contract has officially expired, and he has departed the company. Lashley’s profile was removed from WWE’s official website earlier this week. It was previously reported that his contract was set to expire in August.
Sources within WWE have reportedly indicated that the door remains open for possible future appearances. Lashley has garnered interest from top companies both domestically and internationally, as well as within the combat sports world. He has expressed his intention to continue wrestling, according to those close to him.
In Lashley’s absence, The Street Profits won a #1 contender match for the WWE Tag Team Titles on this week’s SmackDown. They are now set to face The Bloodline next week. Only time will tell how this situation unfolds, but Lashley is now a free agent and free to pursue new opportunities.
