Shawn Michaels, widely regarded as one of the greatest in-ring performers of his generation, is now focused on shaping the future of WWE as the head of the company’s developmental brand, NXT. With his wealth of experience and eye for talent, many are curious about who Michaels considers the best in-ring performers in today’s wrestling landscape.

During a recent interview with Good Karma Wrestling, HBK was asked to name the wrestlers he believes are the top in-ring performers in the world today. Michaels, known as “Mr. WrestleMania,” singled out two standout talents: AJ Styles and Seth Rollins.

“I think Seth is a fantastic performer. That’s me off the top of my head picking one. He’s a guy that has unbelievable talent,” Michaels said. “AJ Styles is still a guy that I think is fantastic as well. The more I sit here and think about it, there are probably other guys that would come up, but I will say right now, for me, for my kind of style and what I enjoy out of matches, AJ and Seth are rocking pretty good.”

Both AJ Styles and Seth Rollins have been major players in WWE, known for their exceptional in-ring abilities and versatility. Styles, who has been off WWE television since his “I Quit” match loss to Cody Rhodes at WWE Clash At The Castle earlier this year, remains one of the most respected performers in the industry. Meanwhile, Rollins has also been off-screen after being taken out by Bronson Reed a few weeks ago, but his reputation as a top-tier talent is undeniable.
