Potential Name for MVP and Bobby Lashley’s Faction After WWE Exit

The Hurt Business, featuring Bobby Lashley, MVP, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin, left a significant mark during their time in WWE. The faction elevated the careers of each member and garnered a strong, loyal fan base. Their disbandment in 2021 was met with disappointment from many fans who had grown attached to the group. With that said, the potential name for MVP and Bobby Lashley’s faction after their WWE exit has been revealed.

The former United States Champion, who recently appeared at Bloodsport XI, has confirmed that he had no plans to return to WWE after his contract expired. Following this, MVP was also moved to the Alumni section of WWE’s website, signaling his departure from the company.

Interestingly, Bobby Lashley had also been moved to the Alumni section, indicating that both he and MVP are now free agents and have the freedom to pursue new opportunities.

On August 14, a trademark filing for the term “The Hurt Syndicate” was submitted for use in professional wrestling and entertainment services by a company named Totally Harmless Concept, LLC.

This company has a history with MVP; in 2013, Totally Harmless Concept, LLC filed to trademark “MVP” when he started his tenure with New Japan Pro Wrestling. Additionally, the company filed to trademark “Ghetto Strong Style” that same year, which was the entrance theme MVP used during his time in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Reports also suggest that the Hurt Business could be poised to make their return in AEW. Therefore, we will have to wait and see and see whether ‘The Hurt Syndicate’ will end up becoming the new name of MVP and Bobby Lashley’s faction in the future.
