John Cena has confirmed that he will appear on the debut episode of WWE Monday Night Raw during its Netflix era in 2025. As part of his retirement tour throughout 2025, one of the first stops Cena announced is his appearance on the premiere episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix.
Speaking to Complex, Cena emphasized that he wouldn’t miss this historic event for WWE. He confirmed his presence for the Netflix debut, and it has also been suggested that The Rock may be involved as well.
John Cena, who is deeply involved in the entertainment industry outside of WWE, has benefitted greatly from his partnership with Netflix. With strong ties to both companies, Cena is optimistic about the future.
“I can tell you I’ll be there for the debut. I think it’s 1/6. I’m not sure, I think so; don’t quote me on that, but it’s a history-making day for WWE. I’m so very proud of WWE. Man, I’m such a fan of the merger. I love the two companies, WWE and Netflix, and it’s an event that I will not miss. I will be there.”
John Cena made millions of fans all around the world, and he’s coming back for one more ride. That will certainly include taking part in WWE’s massive Netflix deal. WWE’s Netflix deal is valued at $500 million per year for 10 years, totaling $5 billion, with an option for Netflix to opt out after the first five years and extend for an additional 10 years.
