AEW star Anna Jay has been showcasing her resilience and determination during her first wrestling run in Japan, as she competes in the prestigious STARDOM 5Star Grand Prix tournament. Participating in the Blue Stars A block, Jay has faced some of the toughest competition in the tournament.

Jay started her tournament campaign with a significant victory over Saori Anou on August 10. However, she has since faced setbacks, losing to Starlight Kid, Syuri, and most recently, Xena, in a match that many fans have praised as one of Jay’s best singles performances to date.

Following her grueling match against Xena on Saturday, August 17, Anna Jay took to Twitter to reveal the physical toll the match took on her. She shared a photo displaying the scars and bruises on her chest, a testament to the hard-hitting nature of the competition in STARDOM.

With a 1-3 record in the tournament, Jay currently has two points, thanks to her win over Saori Anou. She still has matches lined up against Koguma and Miyu Amasaki in this round-robin portion of the tournament, offering her more opportunities to make an impact.
