WWE selected an ideal theme for their massive Bash in Berlin event, and now Triple H is giving some recognition to the artists involved.

Given that Electric Callboy is from Germany, it makes sense for WWE to feature them in their Berlin event. BabyMetal is also familiar with WWE, as their song “Karate” was the theme for WWE NXT TakeOver: The End in 2016.

Triple H took to Twitter to highlight the theme song for WWE’s Bash in Berlin. The event is expected to be high-energy, much like the song “Ratatata.”

“Excited to have @BABYMETAL_JAPAN blasting through @WWE speakers again. They’ve joined forces with Germany’s own @ElectricCallboy for ‘RATATATA,’ an official theme song of #WWEBash in Berlin.”

Whether this “joining forces” will include a live performance remains to be seen, but it’s certainly something to look forward to. Update: BabyMetal has confirmed that they will perform the song with Electric Callboy during the Bash in Berlin event.

Electric Callboy, formerly known as Eskimo Callboy until 2022, changed their name to avoid offending Inuits. The band has been rapidly rising in the metal community since Nico Sallach joined as their lead singer. Songs like “Tekkno Train,” “Pump It,” and “We Got The Moves” performed well, but their collaboration with BabyMetal on “Ratatata” elevated them to new heights with over 33 million streams on Spotify alone.

BabyMetal has been active in Japan for over a decade. Although they started as a crossover between metal and J-Pop, the trio of singers has gained significant respect in the metal community over the years. They are now selling out large venues on their American tour. WWE chose their voices in “Ratatata” to represent Bash in Berlin in their commercials.
