Swerve Strickland’s ascent in AEW has been remarkable, highlighting his outstanding in-ring skills and captivating charisma. As the current AEW World Champion, he shoulders a lot of responsibilities. In fact, he threw out the first patch at a recent Texas Rangers game alongside other AEW stars as well.

At the Texas Rangers game on August 15, Swerve Strickland, Mercedes Mone, and Darby Allin added to the excitement by throwing out the ceremonial first pitch before the Rangers’ matchup with the Minnesota Twins.

Strickland, Mone, and Allin were in Texas to announce that AEW’s All In 2025 will be held at Globe Life Stadium, the home of the Rangers as Swerve took to Twitter and uploaded a video of his pitch. Obviously, this is a big deal for the entire company for good reason.

Swerve Strickland has a lot on his mind as he is set to defend his AEW World Championship against Bryan Danielson at All In at Wembley Stadium on August 25th, so we’ll have to see who will triumph in the end.
