TNA Wrestling and WWE, known for their historical collaborations, saw a revival of their partnership in May with Jordynne Grace’s appearance on NXT television. This led to increased crossovers with stars from both companies appearing on each other’s shows. In fact, Shawn Michaels believes the partnership between the two companies is just n the beginning stages.

The partnership between WWE and TNA continues to make headlines for good reason. Both promotions are frequently swapping talent, as the likes of Tatum Paxley, The Rascalz, No Catch Quarter Crew and more have all made appearances for each other’s companies.

Shawn Michaels talked to Iridian Fierro for WGN Radio about the NXT-TNA partnership. He said it’s still in the early stages but finds it very interesting. He’s excited that WWE is open to working together, which could lead to many new opportunities.

Michaels mentioned that others in the company would decide the details, but he’s happy about the chance to have many talented wrestlers to work with. He thinks this partnership could lead to some amazing matches that fans will love.

“Well, look, that’s obviously incredibly intriguing and interesting right now. I think we are still in the very beginning stages of that, exploring the different possibilities, and those are all things we’re going to look at going forward. I’m obviously very pleased to know that these are partnerships that WWE is now open to, and I think that makes for unlimited possibilities. Now, what the specifics of all of those are as we go into the future, that’ll be decided by people certainly more important than me. For me, getting to be the benefactor of having all these different talents at your utilization is very exciting for us. As we continue to explore those opportunities going forward, I think it’s going to make for some pretty fantastic dream matches that are possible out there that I think a lot of people are going to want to see.”

We have also reported on the possibility of WWE and TNA holding a crossover event in the future. Nevertheless, WWE and TNA’s collaboration is already proving to be beneficial for both companies and that is all that truly matters for them now.
