Jim Ross, the voice that has resonated with several generations of fans, has dedicated decades to the wrestling business. As a key part of AEW, he is known for being open about his views on various matters. He has now confirmed his status for AEW All In this year.
Earlier this year, Jim Ross inked one-year deal with the company and has been part of every major AEW pay-per-view since then and that includes the company’s latest event, AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
AEW’s upcoming pay-per-view All In will take place at Wembley Stadium in London, England. This will require a long flight for Jim Ross, assuming he is well enough to attend, which is a concern for fans.
Jim Ross recently appeared on Highspots’ Virtual Gimmick Table show and revealed that he is scheduled to call the main event of AEW All In at Wembley Stadium, which will feature Swerve Strickland versus Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Championship. He described the match as highly anticipated, referring to it as a potential “barnburner” or “slobberknocker,” and mentioned that both wrestlers are highly motivated and skilled. Ross suggested that the match could be very intense.
”Well, I’m getting ready to go to London for AEW. I think I’m scheduled to call the Bryan Danielson-Swerve (Strickland) match, and that’s gonna be a barnburner. A slobberknocker if you will. Both them are hungry, both of them are great. It could be (that someone will get beat like a government mule). Very likely. I think that may happen.”
It is certainly good to know that good ol’ JR will be present for All In on August 25 and he will be calling the most important match on the card, so we’ll have to see how his performance will be at the show.
