Fans have been buzzing with speculation about whether WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix could make a return to the ring following her recent departure from WWE. With her husband, Adam Copeland, now in AEW, some fans believe Phoenix might consider joining him for a one-off match or appearance in the promotion.

During recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Phoenix addressed the possibility of having one last match. While she didn’t confirm any concrete plans, she emphasized that her decisions would be based on the opportunities presented to her and how they align with her family’s needs.

“It’s really hard to say you’re retired. When I left in 2012, that was the word I threw around a lot. ‘I’m retired. I’m retired,’ because I wanted to have a family,” Phoenix explained. “I knew, for myself, that wasn’t going to be in congruence to perform and to have kids. I needed to devote myself to the kids at that time. I give the age ol’ cliche that everybody hates, ‘Never say never.’ It really just depends on the opportunities and what suits our family.”

Phoenix also shared that any major decisions, including potential wrestling opportunities, are weighed carefully with her family. She recalled how they approached a significant acting opportunity for Adam (the Percy Jackson series) while he was still full-time in WWE, and how they ultimately made the decision as a family to pursue it.

“We talked about everything that comes our way as a family and does that serve us now? How does it affect our kids? How does it affect our marriage? That matters too.” Phoenix added.

While Beth Phoenix isn’t ruling out a return to the ring, it appears any decision will be carefully considered based on what works best for her family. Fans will undoubtedly be eager to see if she decides to lace up her boots once again.

As always, Ringside News will keep fans updated on Phoenix’s future in the wrestling world.
