WWE Hall of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin made a surprise return to in-ring action at WrestleMania 38, where he faced Kevin Owens, breaking his retirement. Since that match, he hasn’t competed again, leading fans to speculate about a potential return.
WWE was in talks to involve ”Stone Cold” Steve Austin in some capacity during WrestleMania 40 weekend, but he never appeared at the show. Jim Ross would explain the likely reason why he wasn’t at the show as well.
The anticipation for WrestleMania 41 is already underway, with WWE announcing that the event will take place in Las Vegas. Scheduled for April 19 and April 20, 2025, WrestleMania 41 will be held at Allegiant Stadium.
Earlier this month, the Texas Rattlesnake dropped a tease about potentially appearing at WrestleMania 41 and this got fans talking in a big way. While speculation about his appearance ran rampant, Steve Austin took to his Instagram and uploaded a photo of himself, where he looked incredibly jacked, making fans even more convinced he would appear at WrestleMania 41.
”Wednesday night in Las Vegas, NV. @bestinthedesert Vegas to Reno race is Friday. 555 miles start to finish. This race is gonna be tough as hell. @gfiracing @zach_kisman @brokenskullbeer @esbcbrews”
The Texas Rattlesnake previously addressed having one more match after WrestleMania 38, but there was no guarantee he would compete in a match again. Regardless, we’ll have to see if Austin will appear at WrestleMania 41, as fans would love to see that happen.
