Randy Orton has proven why he’s considered one of the best in the business after coming back last year. In fact, he revealed that he had once auditioned for a popular Marvel movie.

The world of professional wrestling is as popular as ever and has more than transcended over to the mainstream. After all, pro wrestling is mentioned in many movies and TV shows and some WWE stars have even worked on Marvel movies.

While speaking on Cody Rhodes’ ‘What Do You Wanna Talk About?,’ Randy Orton shared that he does auditions from time to time and recalled his experience with “Deadpool 2,” where he read for the role of Cable.

Randy Orton was confident that he would get the part, but ultimately, Josh Brolin was cast in the role. Orton realized that despite sending in auditions, he is primarily known as a pro wrestler.

”So I do auditions here and there, I remember when I finally got some representation in that industry, Deadpool 2? Cable. I read for Cable and in my head boy I was gonna be Cable. I was like ”Mm, this is it.” Nope, no call back, no nothing. Josh Brolin gets it, of course Brolin gets it. I kind of realized then that ‘Oh I can send these auditions, but I’m a pro wrestler.”

Randy Orton has also signed a five-year deal with WWE, so he will be sticking with WWE for a long time. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see if Orton will end up acting in a Marvel movie in the future.
