Randy Orton made his return to WWE at Survivor Series in November after being away for a long time due to a severe back injury and he has been on a roll since then. He has a Hall of Fame-worthy career and now he has named who he wants to induct him into WWE Hall of Fame.

While speaking on Cody Rhodes’ ‘What Do You Wanna Talk About?,’ Randy Orton was asked who he wants to induct him into WWE Hall of Fame. The Apex Predator mentioned John Cena. Orton admitted that he hesitates to say it out loud because he doesn’t want Cena to feel obligated.

However, he feels Cena would be an excellent choice for the role. Orton noted Cena’s impressive work with previous inductions, such as that of football player Refrigerator Perry, which left him captivated.

While Randy Orton acknowledged there are other potential candidates, John Cena is at the top of his list, though he feels reluctant to make the request given Cena’s busy schedule.

”Oh my god, I’ve thought about it. I almost don’t even wanna say it because he will hear this and feel obligated. Maybe John? There’s a few reasons. Selfishly, I know he would knock it right out of the park, just like he’s done a few inductions. Refrigerator Perry the football player, I was not aware who that man was, but afterwards, Cena inducted him and I’m sitting there watching John and was captivated. I know John could do me better justice than anybody. There are other candidates but John is at the top of the list but I hate even saying it out loud because I can’t even imagine how busy that dude is with everything he’s got going on. Maybe he’d love to do it but I don’t know if I can ask him.”

Randy Orton has accomplished a lot in his long and illustrious career and he will stick with WWE for five more years after signing new deal. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether Cena will end up inducting Orton into the WWE Hall of Fame.
