MVP has left WWE as his contract expired, moving on to his next chapter. This is not the first time MVP has departed from WWE, but this time he left behind a Nigerian giant, and he is also missed. Despite this, he did everything he could for Omos while they were partnered together in the company.

In April 2022, Omos was paired with MVP on WWE television. The two feuded with Bobby Lashley, who had previously split from MVP and The Hurt Business. After the feud with Lashley, Omos was sporadically used on television.

Omos has not wrestled since the April 5th episode of WWE SmackDown when he competed in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He was seen working alongside MVP during his rare appearances, but MVP is no longer part of WWE.

Speaking to Unlikely, Omos was asked about MVP’s departure. He admitted that he misses MVP in WWE because he spent a lot of time on the road with him. Their time as a duo in WWE is over, but he learned everything he could while they were together.

“Since my time on WWE, I’ve spent the most time with MVP on the road. We’ve driven everywhere. It was him and I, hip to hip. I’m definitely going to miss him. I think it was time and in our time spent together, I was able to learn a lot from him. I was able to pick his brain. We spoke about everything from wrestling to promos. How to be a good heel. Just little things about the business that a lot of guys don’t get, I got to get that one-on-one time with him, someone who is very experienced in this business. I was extremely grateful that I had the opportunity to work with him and I did learn a lot. Forever friendship. He’s forever my guy.”

MVP has since appeared at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport. He has also made it clear that he is not returning to WWE at this point. It remains to be seen where he ends up next, but he seems to be enjoying time with his family.

Omos is still with WWE and will appear wherever he is booked next. That time may come soon, but they will need a significant storyline for him. It remains to be seen where Omos will appear next as a special attraction, but MVP will not be by his side.
