Bryan Danielson, recognized as one of the top professional wrestlers globally, is set for a huge match at AEW All In against Swerve Strickland. After what transpired on Dynamite this week, Danielson sent a huge warning to Strickland.
On the August 14 episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland took on Wheeler Yuta. During the match, Strickland repeatedly struck Yuta until the referee had to end the bout. Despite the referee’s intervention, Strickland continued his assault on Yuta until Bryan Danielson intervened to stop him. Following this, Strickland warned Danielson that he would cripple him in front of his daughter at AEW All In.
In a digital exclusive, Bryan Danielson delivered a fiery response to Strickland. He expressed his frustration and intensity, emphasizing that this match was not only his last opportunity to compete for the AEW Championship but also a crucial moment since losing would mean his retirement from wrestling. He conveyed his deep personal connection to Wheeler Yuta, likening him to a son, and denounced Strickland’s mention of his daughter and the threat of crippling him in front of her.
Danielson warned that Strickland would face a more aggressive and unforgiving side of him at Wembley Stadium. He also referenced Strickland’s previous actions against Hangman Page and hinted at severe repercussions for such behavior. Danielson concluded by declaring that his victory and new championship title were inevitable.
“Here’s the thing. As if this wasn’t enough, as if it wasn’t enough for this to be my last chance to wrestle for the AEW Championship. As if it wasn’t enough that if I lose this match, I retire and never wrestle again. As if that wasn’t enough, that you hurt Wheeler Yuta. He’s like a son to me. As if all of that were not enough, you mentioned my daughter, and you mentioned crippling me in front of my f****** daughter. Guess what, Swerve? You are not gonna get underdog Bryan Danielson. You are not getting Bryan Danielson, who’s gonna fight from behind. You’re gonna get the Bryan Danielson that goes out there and kicks people’s f***** head in. That’s what you’ve got coming at Wembley Stadium. I don’t think you know what you just did, doing that you did to Wheeler and talking about my family. I saw what you did to Hangman [Page], when you broke into his house. Don’t you dare do that s*** to me. See, check what happened to the last person that broke into my house. Even for that you just did out there tonight, your fate at Wembley’s gonna be sealed, and I’m gonna be the new AEW World Heavyweight Champion.”
As already stated, Bryan Danielson put his career on the line against Strickland at All In, so we’ll have to see if he will lose and end up retiring or if he will end up becoming the new AEW World Champion, as Danielson has revenge on his mind.
