Ronda Rousey made a splash in WWE with her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34, teaming with Kurt Angle to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. During her rookie year, Rousey quickly became a dominant force, winning championships, headlining WWE Evolution, and participating in the first-ever women’s WrestleMania main event.

In a recent interview with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, Rousey looked back on her WrestleMania 34 debut and shared her thoughts on her time in WWE. Rousey expressed that while she had a great experience, part of her wishes she had wrestled more during the Triple H era instead of the Vince McMahon era.

“It was an incredible introduction. Part of me wishes the time that I wrestled would have been in the Triple H era and not the Vince era because he was the one that believed in me from the very beginning. I’ve been hearing incredible things about how he’s running stuff now. It was such an experience,” Rousey said.

Rousey revealed that her original plan was to stay in WWE only until Survivor Series 2018, but she extended her run through WrestleMania 35 because she was enjoying the experience so much.

After a brief hiatus, Rousey returned to WWE in 2022 for her second run, which lasted over a year before she wrapped up her time in the company at WWE SummerSlam 2023.

As Rousey reflects on her career, it’s clear that she appreciates the impact Triple H has had on WWE and wishes she could have experienced more of his leadership during her time in the company.

What are your thoughts on how her career might have differed if she had more time under Triple H’s guidance? Would her journey in WWE have taken a different path? Share your thoughts and feedback in the comments!
