PAC has been known for his ruthless style and hard-hitting offensive that made him a popular star in AEW ever since joining the company. In the years that he spent with the company, PAC had experienced some success including winning the AEW International Championship.

On the August 14 episode of AEW Dynamite, PAC was visibly frustrated that Will Ospreay got himself a match for the AEW American Championship (previously the International title) against MJF sanctioned by Tony Khan, despite PAC earning the opportunity a few weeks ago.

The Bastard was not happy at Ospreay getting the championship match at AEW’s biggest stage, but he had some revenge sanctioned of his own, for the event, All Out, set to take place two weeks after AEW All In.

PAC announced that the winner of the match between MJF and Will Ospreay at All In would face him for the American Championship at All Out, taking place in Chicago, Illinois to reclaim what he believed was his.
