MJF has always been known for his outrageous antics, from flipping off children to dropping profanities whenever he pleases. Recently, he made a shocking statement, claiming that we will never see Adam Cole again because, according to him, Cole is dead.

When MJF returned to AEW television at Double or Nothing, he did so as a babyface, sporting a jacket reminiscent of Triple H. But the moment quickly turned dark when he attacked Adam Cole, leaving him in a heap. This assault followed the revelation at AEW Worlds End last year that Cole was the leader of the Undisputed Kingdom. Both MJF and Cole had been sidelined for months due to injury.

Since Double or Nothing, Adam Cole has been absent from AEW television, and now MJF insists that we will ‘never’ see him again. In an interview with WrestleTalk, MJF claimed that the former NXT Champion was essentially murdered at Double or Nothing.

“He’s dead. I’ve been told by several people he’s dead. I murdered him. Well no (no unfinished business with Undisputed Kingdom). I cut off the head of the snake, it’s over. I see a lot of people bringing this up. Guys, I work smarter not harder. What, you wanna do MJF vs like, seven fucking dudes? I’m good bro. I got my revenge.

“Adam Cole’s dead, he’s never coming back to wrestling. He’s gone. He’s gone forever. You will never hear Adam Cole’s voice, you’ll never see Adam Cole’s matches again, you’ll never see another Adam Cole promo, you will never see Adam Cole do anything. I murdered him dead. So you tell me, why would I give a shit about the sidekicks?”

We will continue to monitor Adam Cole’s situation. He had to step away from the road due to his recovery, which also halted the momentum of his new Undisputed Kingdom stable, right after he revealed himself as The Devil.

AEW is set to return to Wembley Stadium for All In 2024 on Sunday, August 25. MJF is scheduled to face Will Ospreay for the American Title. If Ospreay wins, the title may revert to the International Championship. Only time will tell if Adam Cole makes an appearance at the event.
