WWE released over a hundred members of staff on April 15th 2020, making it the biggest mass exodus in the company’s history. Veteran referee Mike Chioda was one of them and he was really affected by the release. With that said, Chioda has now addressed possibly returning to AEW.

Mike Chioda worked for AEW as he made a couple of appearances in the past, but never signed a permanent deal with the company. Chioda did work AEW Double or Nothing back in 2020, which happened suddenly.

A Twitter account took to the social media platform and tagged Mike Chioda, stating that they want to see Chioda back in AEW, as it would be nice to see Chioda on television as well.

Mike Chioda clearly saw what the Twitter account had to say, as he responded to the request and made it clear that he would love to make his return to AEW somewhere down the line.
