Dominik Mysterio is undoubtedly one of the biggest heels in the world of professional wrestling right now, as he truly lives his gimmick. With that said, Mysterio revealed that he is not a nice guy to fans at airports at all.

The trend of fans meeting professional wrestlers at airports has stirred controversy. While many wrestlers appreciate impromptu fan interactions, there’s rising concern over certain fans who come with large amounts of merchandise just to get autographs for resale, particularly on sites like eBay.

This commercialization of fan engagements has caused frustration among wrestlers, who feel exploited and disrespected by individuals more interested in making a profit than in showing genuine appreciation for their work.

Last year, a video circulated on social media showing Rey Mysterio declining to sign an autograph at an airport. The fan involved seemed focused on monetizing Mysterio’s signature, highlighting broader issue faced by wrestlers. Rhea Ripley also experienced a similar situation at an airport, where she encountered overwhelming fan demands and voiced her frustration with the lack of respect for her boundaries in such encounters.

While speaking to Logan Paul on the Impaulsive podcast, Dominik Mysterio was asked why he gets booed by fans all the time. Mysterio suggested that jealousy might be a factor.

Mysterio stated said he’s usually nice, but if he’s hungry, like if he hasn’t had his favorite food like tenders or In-N-Out Burger, he might not be as friendly. He also mentioned that he often isn’t very pleasant at airports, and he thinks it might be because people don’t use common sense or act a bit clueless there.

“I don’t know, I think it is jealousy. Right? They don’t know me, personally at least. I mean, it depends on what kind of mood I am. Usually, I am a pretty nice guy. If I’m hungry, you know? I’m not that nice. I’ve got to have some tendies in me, or an In & Out Burger but I feel like I am fairly nice. At the airports, I am not a nice guy. I don’t know what it is about airports man, I don’t know if stupidity just runs through people, or like lack of common sense.”

Recently, footage emerged of Liv Morgan engaging with fans seeking autographs at an airport. Nevertheless, Mysterio has the right to not like fans at the airport and it is not hard to see why.
