AEW has several heated feuds brewing, and the rivalry between Darby Allin and Jack Perry is certainly one of the most intense. During the August 14 episode of Dynamite, their conflict escalated significantly.
Darby Allin delivered a fiery promo targeting Jack Perry, accusing him of taking AEW for granted. He emphasized that AEW deserves respect for being a haven for talent that struggled to succeed elsewhere. Darby also pointed out how AEW has been a place where the Young Bucks’ friends received preferential treatment, adding fuel to the fire.
The intensity reached a new level when Darby announced that their upcoming match would be a coffin match, setting the stage for a brutal encounter at Wembley Stadium. With the TNT Title on the line, this stipulation raises the stakes considerably. Darby Allin is notorious for his violent approach to coffin matches, and All In presents him with another opportunity to push his limits and endure even more physical punishment.
This intense matchup is just one part of the highly anticipated AEW All In event on August 25 at Wembley Stadium. The card also features Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway teaming up against Willow Nightingale and Tomohiro Ishii in a mixed tag team match.
“Timeless” Toni Storm will defend her AEW Women’s World Championship against “The Glamour” Mariah May in a singles match. MJF will put his AEW American Championship on the line against Will Ospreay in what promises to be a thrilling contest. Mercedes Moné, with Kamille in her corner, will defend her AEW TBS Championship against Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.
Additionally, the event will include a Casino Gauntlet match, with Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, or Kyle O’Reilly vying for a future AEW World Championship match. The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Killswitch, and Nick Wayne) will defend their AEW World Trios Championship against either The Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn) or House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews). Finally, the main event will see Swerve Strickland defending his AEW World Championship against Bryan Danielson in a high-stakes Title vs. Career match.
