AEW on the Verge of Multiple Major Announcements

AEW has a lot on its plate, with the highly anticipated All In event set for August 25. There may be some major announcements on the horizon, with one possibly coming as soon as tonight.

Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that regarding these “big AEW announcements,” at least one could be made this week. However, the specifics of the announcement remain unclear.

With All In taking place at Wembley Stadium in just a few weeks, AEW might have the opportunity to reveal a couple of significant deals. Additionally, the situation surrounding their upcoming television contract is another crucial matter.

Tony Khan recently met with WBD’s David Zaslav in Paris during the Olympics. Tony mentioned that their conversations were productive and went well, which could be a promising sign for AEW’s future. Securing a television deal is essential for AEW to continue thriving as a pro wrestling company.

Prior to this week’s episode of Dynamite, Tony Khan also posted via Twitter, “Thank you all watching @AEW tonight, as we approach this indelible period with #AEWAllIn London @wembleystadium August 25, + the most important announcements in AEW history ahead!” So, he’s certainly hyping some big announcements are in the pipeline.
