WWE’s Plans for CM Punk and Drew McIntyre at Bash in Berlin

WWE is already preparing for the Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event and fans definitely want to see CM Punk and Drew McIntyre competing at the event. In fact, WWE’s plans for the two at Bash in Berlin have been revealed.

Drew McIntyre defeated Punk at SummerSlam, but CM Punk wasn’t done with McIntyre as the two have been at each other’s throats for the past couple of weeks on Monday Night RAW.

On the August 12 episode of Monday Night RAW, General Manager Adam Pearce informed Drew McIntyre that CM Punk was facing travel issues. McIntyre, however, was more focused on the World Heavyweight Championship and expressed frustration over Randy Orton from SmackDown getting a title match against GUNTHER.

Later in the show, GUNTHER and Orton had a heated exchange, with GUNTHER taking personal shots at Orton and his family. Just as Orton was about to retaliate, McIntyre entered the ring. Out of nowhere, CM Punk appeared and attacked McIntyre, using McIntyre’s leather belt to strike him multiple times before making a quick exit.

According to Ibou of WrestlePurits, it has been reported that WWE is currently planning for Drew McIntyre and CM Punk to compete in a Strap match at the Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event on August 31.

”According to multiple sources within WWE, CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre in a Strap Match is planned for Bash In Berlin.”

Drew McIntyre even showed off his nasty welts after CM Punk’s brutal lashing. Regardless, we’ll have to see whether WWE does plan a Strap match for the two, as that level of violence is definitely something fans want to see.
