On the August 12 edition of Monday Night RAW, Sami Zayn and Bron Breakker faced off in their decisive rubber match with a 2-out-of-3 falls stipulation. The match began with Breakker showcasing his raw strength, while Zayn utilized his speed and offense to challenge the “Wolf Dog.”

Zayn took the lead early by landing a huge Helluva Kick on Breakker, earning the first fall. This only fueled Breakker’s aggression as he retaliated by slamming Zayn into the barricade and the timekeeper’s area. With the straps down, Breakker then hit two powerful spears to equalize the falls at one apiece.

After the episode concluded, Sami Zayn remained in the ring to receive an ovation from the crowd. The 40-year-old took the opportunity to deliver a heartfelt promo, praising Bron Breakker’s potential and stating that he has what it takes to become the face of the company.

“You have to give respect to the Intercontinental Champion and in all probability, the future face of WWE, Bron Breakker. I really don’t have time to say…if I had to say anything, it would just be that I’ve been coming to the city [Austin, TX] for a very, very long time – long before I was even in WWE. Back when I was wrestling at the Mohawk in Texas. This city was a wrestling town back then and it’s still a wrestling town right now. If you don’t believe me, just look around. We sold every single seat of this building out!”

Bron Breakker continues to impress fans with his dominance and his wins over Sami Zayn have definitely legitimized him as a competitor. We’ll have to see what’s next in store for Breakker.
