Joe Hendry has the entire pro wrestling world speaking his name, and they never know when he will appear next. He is also quite talented at writing catchy songs that get stuck in your head. MJF has seen Hendry’s act and believes he is even better.

Before becoming a generational talent in wrestling, MJF impressed audiences on the Rosie O’Donnell show with his singing ability, and he still proclaims that she never paid him. In the wrestling world, MJF has performed numerous musical numbers, both live and taped.

Speaking to Cultaholic, MJF was asked if he’s the best singer in wrestling. “Hands down,” he stated. When Joe Hendry was brought up, MJF replied, “Joe Hendry, sweet kid, I would murder him.”

Chris Jericho was also mentioned. MJF said, “Fozzy is incredibly produced. They do a great job.” When asked once again if he’s the best vocalist, MJF said, “Yeah, 1000%. Also, I beat Chris Jericho. I tapped him out with the Salt of the Earth Armbar. The sounds he made, in that moment, to me, were angelic.”

MJF is set to defend his AEW American Championship against Will Ospreay at AEW All In. We will have to see how that turns out on August 31, but MJF is certainly getting a lot of heat in the meantime.

Joe Hendry is not done with NXT yet, but he is also not finished with TNA Wrestling. The company still has Hendry under contract for quite some time. So, Hendry may have the freedom to appear elsewhere, but he’s not making a full-time jump to WWE anytime soon. We will have to see if and when MJF sings again on AEW television, but Hendry’s competition on the competing company may also be enough of a reason for MJF to break out his vocal pipes once again.

What’s your take on Joe Hendry’s act versus MJF? Who do you think is the better singer? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
