Drew McIntyre Shows Off Nasty Welts After CM Punk Assault on 8/12 WWE RAW

Drew McIntyre has been on a dominant winning streak for months, with his feud with CM Punk dominating WWE television for a long time now. McIntyre defeated Punk at SummerSlam, but Punk wasn’t done with McIntyre as he ended up brutally attacking McIntyre on RAW this week and McIntyre has now shown off the nasty welts he received as a result.

On the August 12 episode of Monday Night RAW, Drew McIntyre was told by General Manager Adam Pearce that CM Punk was having travel problems. McIntyre wasn’t concerned about Punk; instead, he wanted to focus on the World Heavyweight Championship and was frustrated that Randy Orton from SmackDown was getting a title shot against GUNTHER.

Later in the night, GUNTHER and Orton had a heated argument, with Gunther making personal jabs at Orton and his family. As Orton was about to react, McIntyre came down to the ring. All of a sudden, CM Punk appeared and attacked McIntyre, using McIntyre’s own leather belt to hit him several times before quickly leaving.

The Scottish Warrior took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of himself after CM Punk’s lashing, as Drew McIntyre showed off several nasty welts on his back, which made his back look hideous.

We will have to wait and see whether The Scottish Warrior will exact revenge on CM Punk after what he did to McIntyre this week on RAW, as it’s quite clear their feud won’t be ending anytime soon.
