AEW is truly a very diverse company with loads of talent from all over the world and they want to form partnerships with various venues and this includes their current deal with Arlington, Texas and now AEW’s internal reaction to the residency has been revealed.

AEW has reduced production costs for AEW Collision by switching the theme song to an in-house track, moving away from Elton John’s “Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting).” They have also established a temporary residency at Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas, where episodes of Collision and Ring of Honor have been taped since July 20. This residency is set to continue until August 17 and there’s a reason why luchadores have been getting more focus there as well.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, AEW management is very pleased with the Arlington residency. They have been especially happy with the crowd reactions and the atmosphere at Esports Stadium. The promotion is reportedly thrilled with how the partnership with Arlington has turned out.

It’s unclear if AEW plans to return to Arlington for another residency in the future. There are rumors that AEW might hold a stadium show in the Dallas/Arlington area in 2025, with Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers, being a potential venue. Regardless, we’ll have to see how AEW will continue to grow in the coming months, as fans are excited for what’s next.
