TNA has undergone significant changes since reconnecting with its roots through the Hard to Kill pay-per-view in January. As the company aims to grow, there were hopes that Bound for Glory might be held internationally. However, the event will take place in the US. Despite this, TNA’s original plans for the event’s location have been revealed.

Rumors have circulated suggesting that Bound for Glory could be held internationally, notably in Europe, or in New York City and this made fans wonder where the location would ultimately be.

It was then confirmed that the 2024 Bound for Glory pay-per-view will be held in Detroit, Michigan. This will be the first time the event has taken place in Michigan since 2006, but fans were disappointed it was not an international location.

Fightful Select reports that the UK was considered as a possible location for Bound For Glory. Although TNA Wrestling decided not to hold the event there this time, Fightful noted that TNA’s return to the UK in 2024 is still a possibility.

TNA originally announced that Bound For Glory would be held in one of the top 10 most-visited cities in the world and a city that had never hosted a TNA pay-per-view before. If the UK had been chosen, this would have likely meant that London, England was under consideration for the event. Regardless, we’ll have to see if a TNA event takes place in the UK eventually again.
