Maria Kanellis to Undergo Surgery in September for Adrenal Gland Mass

Maria Kanellis, who is currently a part of the AEW and ROH, recently revealed she is facing a significant health crisis. Last year, Kanellis even underwent successful thyroid surgery and she’s now confirmed she will have surgery for adrenal gland mass.

Maria Kanellis had not been utilized on ROH television much lately and she also made it clear she was not happy about her limited role as well. However, she is dealing with a lot of issues at the moment.

Maria recently shared that she had requested tests for her adrenal glands and hormone levels six months ago due to troubling symptoms, but her insurance denied the request. Recently, a mass was discovered during another test, prompting a CT scan to determine if it was on her kidney or adrenal gland.

Kanellis then noted she was set to undergo a Retroperitoneoscopic Adrenalectomy treatment. On August 12, Maria confirmed on Twitter she would undergo surgery in September for the adrenal gland mass.

Maria Kanellis is known to defy odds her entire wrestling career, and being the fighter she is, the wrestling world remains positive that she would come out stronger from her ongoing health issues.
