The faction of Damage CTRL had laid dominance over the WWE landscape since their debut in 2022. However, after Asuka, another current member of the stable finds herself on the injury list.

On the August 12 episode of Monday Night RAW, it was announced that Dakota Kai would be out of action for eight to ten weeks due to a torn meniscus and is scheduled to undergo surgery to repair the injury.

The injury occurred during the August 5 episode of RAW, where Kai was slated to compete against Sonya Deville in a singles match. However, before the match could take place, Kai was attacked, leading to her clutching her knee in pain after the assault.

Dakota Kai was absent from tonight’s show as her fellow cohorts Kairi Sane and IYO Sky squared off against Sonya’ cohorts, Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler in a tag team match with high-stakes involved.
