Roxanne Perez has been the NXT Women’s Champion for a few months now and she is clearly being booked well as the champion. With that said, some are worried that her main roster move might be disastrous.

After successfully defending her NXT Women’s Championship at the first week of the NXT Great American Bash, Roxanne Perez had a message for the entire locker room as she has consistently been booked well as the champion, making it clear she fears no one.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, the WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray talked about the potential issues with moving Roxanne Perez to the main roster. He emphasized the importance of having a clear plan for her before making such a move. He suggested that staying in NXT for a bit longer wouldn’t hurt Perez.

Ray explained that without a solid plan, moving her to the main roster could be risky. First impressions are crucial, and you only get one chance to make a strong one. He believes that although Perez might be ready, it would be beneficial for her to stay in NXT for now. This extra time would allow her to continue improving in the ring, refining her psychology, promos, and overall character.

“As far as Roxanne Perez moving on [to the main roster], I don’t know … Unless there is a definitive plan, it can be disastrous. Sometimes you only get that one shot to make that first impression on the main roster … Do I think she’s ready? I don’t think it’s going to hurt her to hang out in ‘NXT’ for a little bit longer. I would rather see her sit there, continue to get comfortable in the ring, to improve in her psychology, her promos, her character.”

It is expected that Roxanne Perez will be feuding with either Giulia or Stephanie Vaquer upon their WWE NXT debuts, so it will be a while until Roxanne Perez gets called up to the main roster. Till then, fans will continue to see Perez flourish as the NXT Women’s Champion.
