Thunder Rosa has been part of the AEW family for quite a few years now and there’s no questioning her passion for the business, especially after she returned to AEW. In fact, she has declared she will show no mercy after AEW Collision this week.
For the past few weeks now, Thunder Rosa and Deonna Purrazzo have been engaged in a bitter feud as both of them have been pushing each other to the limit. This culminated in a brutal Bull Rope match on the August 10th edition of Collision.
It was truly a bloody affair from start to finish as both Rosa and Purrazzo bled buckets worth of blood. In the end, Thunder Rosa pulled off the win, much to the appreciation of fans.
AEW took to Twitter and uploaded a post-show promo of Thunder Rosa. Thunder Rosa expressed that she had been pushed to her limits over the past year and wasn’t sure she could continue. After her recent match, she felt an intense mix of emotions, including physical pain and the sensation of blood making her vision blurry, but also a powerful sense of being alive and herself again.
Rosa declared her return with enthusiasm, promising that this wouldn’t be the last time fans see her. She vowed to deliver more violence and better wrestling, and stated that she wouldn’t show mercy or let anyone push her around as La Mera Mera declared herself a winner.
”I’ve been pushed and pushed and pushed the whole entire last year because I didn’t think I would be able to do this again. I got so emotional after the match, not only because I felt every single hit, I felt the blood running and making me blind but I felt I was alive again, I felt like it was me. I’m back, Thunder Rosa is back. Are you guys entertained?! Because I am. And this is not the last time you’re gonna see me. You wanna see more violence? You’re gonna get it. You want better wrestling? You’re gonna get it. What you’re not gonna see if someone who has mercy or gonna allow anybody to push them over again. La Mera Mera is back and I’m the winner.”
Thunder Rosa also had to put her Mission Pro Wrestling promotion on indefinite hiatus recently. In the meantime, we’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for Rosa, as things are certainly going well for her now.
