Former WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio was part of the company for a few years and he worked alongside Ricardo Rodriguez. Interestingly enough, Rodriguez has now expressed his desire to return to WWE after 10 years.

Rodriguez joined WWE in 2010 and worked with the company for nearly four years before his contract was terminated in April 2014. During his time with WWE, Rodriguez primarily served as Alberto Del Rio’s personal ring announcer. Since leaving WWE, he has remained active as a competitor on the independent circuit.

While speaking in a recent interview on Cafe de Rene, Rodriguez shared his aspiration to return to WWE. He also mentioned that he would be open to working for AEW if the chance arose.

Despite this, his primary focus remains on eventually making his way back to WWE. Whether that happens or not in the end is a whole different story at this point in time.

“I’ve been very open about it before that my end goal is going back to WWE. If the opportunity ever presented itself to work for AEW again, I totally would. But my end goal has and always will be going back to WWE.”

Last year, Ricardo Rodriguez worked as a producer for MLW as well. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see whether Rodriguez will make his way back to WWE one day, as anything is possible in the world of professional wrestling.
