WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has accomplished a lot during his time in WWE, having a remarkable rookie year and going on to become a legend in the business. That’s why it’s no surprise he was elated to see an American amateur wrestler hit a German suplex at the Olympics.
The WWE Hall of Famer made a name for himself not only in pro wrestling but also by winning a gold medal at the Olympics before his wrestling career began. His contributions to the business are unparalleled, earning him immense respect from both fans and peers.
At the Paris Olympics this week, Kennedy Blades hit an incredible German suplex on her opponent Catalina Axente of Romania. Naturally, this got the world pro wrestling world talking in a big way.
Many fans wanted Kurt Angle to comment on the suplex as well and that finally happened as Angle took to his Instagram and uploaded a photo of the aforementioned German suplex, as he dubbed it as real wrestling.

In the meantime, Kurt Angle landed a voice acting gig and is also set to referee a celebrity boxing match this year, so he will be busy for a while. Regardless, Angle will always appreciate a great German suplex and that’s all that matters.
