The fame and popularity of WWE Superstars and personnel have a huge impact on its esteemed fan base all over the world. However, many people tend to use that in a negative way to scam others for their own financial needs.

A similar instance recently happened in regard to popular WWE backstage interviewer, Jackie Redmond. She had been a renowned face in the NHL as a reporter and joined WWE last year, quickly ascending as a popular figure in their television programming.

A person shared photos of their conversation with someone posing as Jackie Redmond, influencing to purchase a Razer Gold or Steam card in an attempt to take their money. This caught Jackie’s attention who took to her X to respond to the same.

Redmond also clarified that she would never ever ask her fans for any money and alerted the fans of such online scamsters who commit such frauds. Moreover, Jackie also stated that should fans get such messages even from her actual social media, it would mean that her account has been hacked.

“For the record (again) these people are not me. I will NEVER, I repeat, NEVER EVER ask you for money or to go purchase phones gift cards etc. And on the off chance you EVER get something like this from my actual, verified account. I assure you, it means I’ve been hacked. lol.”

Not so long ago, another fan was also trying a similar stunt by pretending to be Jackie Redmond which she also addressed. Therefore, we strongly suggest fans to be alert by such scamsters and hope that Redmond’s message would deter them from targeting wrestling fans in the future.

What are your thoughts on Jackie Redmond alerting the fans to scam artists posing as her and demanding money and purchase gift cards?
