Ex-WWE Star Made AEW Debut During 8/10 Collision

A couple of years ago, WWE had to undergo changes after NXT UK was shut down due to the upcoming NXT Europe brand. Aleah James was one such NXT UK star who had to part ways with the company and now she made her debut during AEW Collision this week.

The NXT UK brand was shut down in September 2022 as WWE had plans to launch NXT Europe. Aleah James previously announced her free agency earlier last year as NXT UK was no longer a thing.

As seen during the August 10th edition of AEW Collision, Aleah James made her debut in AEW as she squared off against Hikaru Shida. While it was a squash match, James made sure to impress fans, as many recognized her as well.

We will have to wait and see whether AEW will decide to sign Aleah James eventually, as it is likely she will make more appearances on AEW television. Having become a big name in the independent circuit, the future remains bright for Aleah James no matter what.
