WWE has its eyes on several AEW stars, with a few contracts nearing expiration. Reports suggest that Ricky Starks might be heading to WWE, and the Lucha Bros could follow suit. Another AEW star also attracting WWE’s interest is Daniel Garcia.

Garcia hasn’t appeared since a brutal attack by MJF following an International Title match with Will Ospreay. Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that one prominent figure in the company believed Garcia was staying and speculated he’d re-signed, but as of last week, that wasn’t the case.

Daniel Garcia’s AEW contract is reportedly set to expire in October, and no new deal has been signed yet. The report also noted that WWE is interested in acquiring Daniel Garcia, while All Elite Wrestling is keen on retaining him. This situation could lead to a bidding war for Garcia’s services.

Garcia had a tryout with WWE before signing with AEW several years ago, but WWE chose not to sign him at that time. His increased exposure in AEW has clearly put him back on WWE’s radar. We will provide more updates on this story as additional information becomes available.
