The Rock Makes Surprise Appearance at Disney Event to Promote ‘Moana 2’

Since his return to WWE earlier this year, The Rock has been on an impressive run, with his heel persona garnering critical acclaim as one of the best performances of his career. Despite his time away from WWE, he has remained busy with various other projects. Notably, he made a surprise appearance at a Disney event to promote Moana 2.

Although The Rock’s time with WWE concluded after WrestleMania 40, his contributions were impactful, and fans continue to appreciate the essential role he played in WWE programming during his return.

For the past several months, The Rock has been hard at work filming Moana 2. That’s why it was no surprise that The Rock surprised attendees at D23 with an unexpected appearance to unveil the latest trailer for Disney’s Moana 2. At the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, he joined others on stage for a dance performance.

Following his appearance, fans were treated to the new Moana 2 trailer, which was later shared online. In the trailer, Johnson, as Maui, makes a mid-way appearance, delivering witty lines amid scenes of action from the film.

In case you forgot, The Rock is set to act in the live-action remake of ‘Moana’ as well. Nonetheless, fans at D23 were definitely happy to see The Great One make a surprise appearance, and that’s all that matters.
