Seth Rollins has made a triumphant return to action after being sidelined for several months due to a knee injury. However, his comeback took a devastating turn on the August 5 episode of WWE Raw when he was brutally attacked by Bronson Reed. The assault was so severe that Rollins was rushed to the hospital after coughing up blood, and it has now been confirmed that he has been written off television as a result.

WWE issued an official statement via Twitter, featuring a video of WWE official Adam Pearce. In the video, Pearce announced that the medical staff has diagnosed Rollins with multiple cracked ribs and internal bruising following Reed’s vicious Tsunami splashes.

“Medical staff has informed me that Seth Rollins has suffered several cracked ribs and internal bruising and as such will be out of action for an unspecified period of time,” Pearce stated.

This development comes amid reports that Rollins has been dealing with chronic issues, which may have contributed to the decision to temporarily write him off television. WWE has plans for Rollins to feud with Bronson Reed upon his return, so fans will have to wait and see when The Visionary will make his comeback.
