Matt Cardona Fires Back at Haters Claiming WWE Background is the Sole Reason for His Success

Matt Cardona, formerly known as Zack Ryder during his time in WWE, never realized his full potential in the company. He was subsequently released back in 2020 and in the years since, he has completely transformed his career. With that said, Cardona has now fired back at haters who claim his WWE background is the sole reason for his success.

In the four years since his WWE release, Matt Cardona has found renewed success on the independent circuit, earning the nickname “Indy God” for his achievements in various independent wrestling promotions.

Matt Cardona took to Twitter and addressed haters who claim that he is only so successful now because of the fact that he used to work in WWE. To such claims, Cardona

HATERS: “You’re only so successful on the indies because you came from WWE.” ME: “OK…then where’s everybody else who ever got fired from WWE?”

Matt Cardona also made it clear he is interested in a WWE comeback. Regardless, there is no doubt that Cardona has worked hard to make his own success in pro wrestling, and that’s all that matters to him.
