Bryan Danielson missed significant portions of his career in WWE due to concussion issues. Now, the American Dragon is approaching what could be his final match at All In on August 31. His opponent, Swerve Strickland, won’t be going easy on him either, as the AEW World Title is at stake.
During AEW Collision on August 10, Bryan Danielson sat down for an interview with Jim Ross. In the conversation with the WWE Hall of Famer, Danielson discussed his current situation regarding his expiring contract and his physical condition.
Bryan Danielson disclosed to Good Ol’ JR that he will need neck surgery by the end of the year. He did not specify the type of surgery or its schedule, but he certainly seemed sincere in his statement.
We’ll have to wait and see what unfolds at AEW All In. All signs suggest that Bryan Danielson might be concluding his in-ring career at Wembley Stadium. Only time will reveal the outcome, but his body has undoubtedly endured considerable damage from years of entertaining fans worldwide.
