The August 9th episode of Friday Night SmackDown promises to build upon the engaging storylines that entertained fans last week. Fans are definitely looking forward to seeing how the show will continue the build towards Bash in Berlin.
Tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown will be emanating from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The show will be airing at 8PM ET slot on FOX as usual in the United States.
During SummerSlam 2024, LA Knight won his first United States Championship by defeating Logan Paul. He will be making his debut appearance with the US title this week on SmackDown.
Roman Reigns made a dramatic return at SummerSlam, attacking Solo Sikoa. WWE has announced that Reigns will also return to SmackDown this week, where he is expected to discuss his future. Speculation suggests that Reigns may face confrontation from Solo Sikoa and the new Bloodline.
Additionally, Nia Jax won the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam by defeating Bayley. Jax will be showcasing her new title on SmackDown this week, and a championship celebration with Stratton is planned. Cody Rhodes, having successfully defended his title against Solo Sikoa, is also set to appear on this week’s SmackDown.
