WWE Reveals Roman Reigns’ Words to Cody Rhodes During SummerSlam Moment

During Roman Reigns’ absence after WrestleMania 40, Solo Sikoa took on the leadership role within The Bloodline. However, Reigns returned at SummerSlam but he also seemed to have sent a message to Rhodes, something that WWE has finally revealed.

WWE’s 2024 SummerSlam ended with a Bloodline Rules match for the Undisputed WWE Title, where Cody Rhodes triumphed over Solo Sikoa, thanks in part to the intervention of the Original Tribal Chief.

Roman Reigns made an unexpected return at SummerSlam, targeting Solo Sikoa rather than Cody Rhodes. Reigns delivered a Superman punch and a fierce spear to Sikoa before exiting backstage, helping Rhodes retain his championship.

WWE took to Twitter and uploaded a video of Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes staring at each other. As seen in the video, Roman Reigns sent a message to Cody Rhodes, making it clear he will be coming after the Undisputed WWE Title eventually.

‘It’s only a matter of time. That belongs to me.”

Roman Reigns has been confirmed to make an appearance on the August 9th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, so we will have to wait what The Tribal Chief will have to say, as it’s clear he will eventually go after Cody Rhodes again.
