The August 9 edition of Friday Night SmackDown offered a huge opportunity to the tag team division for earning a shot at the WWE tag team titles in the form of a No.1 contender tag team tournament. One of those matches featured The Street Profits squaring off against former champions, A-Town Down Under.

The dynamic duo of the highly resilient Montez Ford and the power-packed Angelo Dawkins went up against the cocky upstarts, Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. Both teams looked to gain momentum as the huge presented itself on the blue brand.

A-Town Under went back and forth against the fury of The Street Profits, with the crowd in Tulsa, Oklahoma glued to their seats for this jam-packed tag team match with a chance to face Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga for the tag team gold hung in the balance.

As the match came to its final moments, a perfectly executed double team super neck buster from Montez Ford jumping from the top with Dawkins holding up on Theory on his shoulder did the job for The Street Profits, as Dawkins pinned him to secure the pinfall and move ahead in the No.1 contender qualifying matches.
