The August 9th episode of Friday Night SmackDown will address the fallout from the SummerSlam Premium Live Event, offering plenty for fans to anticipate. Ahead of this week’s broadcast, a spoiler for the main event has now been revealed.
Roman Reigns made his shocking return at SummerSlam last week, going after Solo Sikoa rather than Cody Rhodes. Reigns hit a Superman punch and a brutal spear to Sikoa before leaving the ring, thus helping Rhodes retain his title.
It was then confirmed that Reigns would make an appearance on the August 9th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, which will be taking place in the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
According to Cory Hays of PWN, Roman Reigns will be featured in the main event segment for this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, where he will likely address his return and call out the new Bloodline and order them to acknowledge him.
We will have to wait and see whether the main event segment featuring Roman Reigns ends up with a surprise debut or anything along those lines, as the possibilities are truly endless with the Tribal Chief of WWE back in the fold.
Ringside News will be providing live play-by-play coverage of tonight’s show over in our WWE SmackDown coverage hub. It promises to be a memorable episode for many reasons, so we’ll have to wait and see how the episode will turn out.
