Several TNA stars have been making an impact in the business lately, with Joe Hendry being a notable standout. His appearances on NXT television significantly boosted his reputation and it appears the timeline on Hendry’s TNA contract expiry has been revealed.
TNA star Joe Hendry has been making headlines with his role in the crossover between NXT and TNA. He recently performed a live concert on the July 30th episode of NXT and was also victorious during the August 6th edition of NXT against Joe Coffey, making fans wonder if he might eventually join WWE.
Joe Hendry’s popularity in WWE is on the rise, but the ‘Local Hero’ won’t be able to join the company for a while. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Joe Hendry’s contract with TNA Wrestling is believed to be valid until the end of 2025, which means he will remain under contract with the promotion for over a year.
It was also mentioned that one potential option for WWE to sign Hendry would be to buy out his contract with TNA, but it is not known if this possibility has been discussed between WWE and TNA.
Joe Hendry also made it clear that he will have an extended stay in NXT. Nonetheless, we will have to wait and see whether Hendry will end up signing with WWE somewhere down the line, as many fans want him to join the ranks of WWE for good.
